In the inaugural episode of The Outgroup, I talk with one half of The Damn Woods podcast Jake and Dexter from The Gaslight Hour about the outgroup of conspiracy media.

We talk about the origins of conspiracy media, namely Coast to Coast AM hosted by the late, great Art Bell. We also look at how the internet and social media have changed the landscape to the present day, going all the way from John Titor to QAnon.

I ask the boys about their favourite subcultures in the conspiracy ecosystem, we talk about the Blink 182 UFO guy, and they leave some parting advice for budding conspiracy media enthusiasts.
